The Nandanvan reserve in Kodaiknanal is a safe sanctuary for plants and wildlife. In an unfenced estate where wildlife roam free, Nandan's coffee beans grow amidst a double canopy of orange, avocado, jackfruit, pepper, teak, rosewood and pine trees. We wanted to bring that experience to the heart of Mumbai's commercial centre in Fort. In collaboration with interior architect Farida Mariwalla. submit arrow

Cocojungle was hired by the Nandan team to create a fresh cafe experience in the heart of the Fort. Not just cute and cozy but an entirely new experience. Rather than a cafe littered with plants in every nook, we desired something entirely more stylish that would function as ecological metaphor for the brand.

Keeping things simple here helps to create a stop-in-your-tracks composition that serves as an introduction to the brand.

The Song of India tree is the star of the show that exaggerates the heritage building's tall ceiling and is worshipped from every angle of the cafe. Mikado Snake sculpturally hedges the bar that's also the window gallery.
