A custom made clay canyon in a volcanic texture holds schefflera at different heights in a balcony corner. The canyon subtly emerges out of the black wall behind it to create a naturally stratified effect. In collaboration with Neterwala Aibara.

Some people want their plants to stand out. Others, like this homeowner, aspire to just the opposite. This led to an unexpected take on the typical skyscraper balcony. To establish a consistent hardscape and give the entire balcony a consistent feel, we decided on a ceramic canyon that made the landscape absolutely seamless.
